Gold level membership is reserved for active Essex County Fire Chiefs of Department and eligible Assistant and Deputy Fire chiefs. Temporary or Interim Chiefs may hold Gold membership. Gold members have full voting rights within the organization.
Assistant Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs may hold Gold membership if they meet membership criteria and are recommended in writing by the Chief of Department. Their voting rights are subject to the limitations in the by-laws, and they may serve on committees. Dues for Assistant and Deputy Chiefs is $100.
