The New England Air Alliance (a consortium of all medical helicopters serving New England) is updating their Comms Plan. Starting 4/1/21, they will be using the National Tacs (by band, depending on the agency) for air-to-ground communications to coordinate LZ operations (upon approach) and no longer using individual agency frequency as that has become impossible to maintain (esp since they service all of New England). The letter announcement will begin circulating later today. We will be issuing to Fire Departments, PSAPs, CMEDs, OEMS and EMS providers notifying of the change. I am also using other state/regional groups to help spread the word as appropriate (Homeland Security Regions, Fire Mob, etc).
